Jennifer Irvine studied painting at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1978. She exhibits throughout the UK and works full time from her Glasgow studio.
Her large paintings are very involved with pattern and shape and she has become increasingly interested in dramatic use of light and shade as is evident in her paintings of French and Italian villages and townscapes.
