Item 31 Single Malt Nightcaps

THE ADELPHI SELECTION
Edition no. 6

Ardmore 2000 15yr old Speyside, 57.6% vol, cask #244
From a first fill American oak cask, this is a well-mannered peated Speysider, sweet, light and very well-balanced with a gentle, lingering smoke.   Creamy porridge with soft brown sugar, a cup of Lapsang Souchong tea and a little smoked cheese on the side
Cambus 1988 27yr old Lowland, 48.0% vol, cask #59253
Unusually for the Adelphi Night Cap range, this is a single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Cambus Distillery.  Pale gold in colour, this exceptional dram is light, fresh and floral with a hint of macadamia nut oil, coconut biscuits and vanilla ice cream.  A rare gem.
Longmorn 1992 23yr old Speyside, 50.0% vol, cask #48444
From an American oak ex-sherry hogshead this has a rich copper colour
and a gentle, lingering mousse.  Super smooth cake mix and brandy butter, strawberry jam with toffee in the finish.
                                               Bunnahabhain 2005 10yr old Islay, 56.0% vol, cask #800141
A sweet and spicy peated sherry treat – candied ginger with hints of pear, cigar ash and a little smokey bacon and salted peanuts. Ripe fruit and aniseed.

Go on - treat yourself.

This is a very special lot giving a taste of four x 10cl  outstanding single cask malts.

Guide value  £75
